Steering Change (Converting Vehicles from right Hand Drive to Left Hand Drive

Autologistics Japan (ATL) is one of the pioneers of converting vehicles from Right Hand to Left Hand in Japan and has been specializing in this business for the past five years.

Although we started with the Toyota Hiace model, today we do almost thirty different models and are developing parts for new models on a regular basis. It all depends on the requirements of our customers in Japan and overseas. With a six lane workshop we have the capacity to produce 80 to 100 units a month.

All the vehicles after conversion are tested for mechanical and electrical defects. Test runs are done and then a quality certification seal is put on each front glass to confirm that the vehicle has passed the strict Japanese quality standards.

We are confident that the quality of conversion is one of the best in Japan. Depending on the workload we sometimes give different delivery times for each vehicle. Depending on the vehicle the normal conversion time ranges from two to ten days.
